Finally the previous monday saw a number of TRP runners contest the Peter Tavy Plod, a 5 mile run around the village of Peter Tavy. Now in its 19 th year the run is a popular throwback to the days of less commercial races. This is year the race attracted runners from as far away as Kent but the event was dominated by TRPs Oliver Smart who won for the second time. He was joined by club mates Alex Peyton Jones, Pete Moyse,Crispin Chambers and a welcome return to running for Ami Peyton Jones who has been battling injury.
The club is slowly bouncing back from the effects of Coronavirus and building towards the upcoming cross country season. Anyone who wants to know more about TRP or maybe wants to join the club, feel free to contact Dave Chanter on 07815318145 or check out the clubs website.
